Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by JBH Coaching and Tuition  (“we”, “us”, “our”) in relation to online executive coaching and science tuition. By booking or using our services, you (“the Client”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided

  • We provide online executive coaching and science tuition sessions, delivered via secure video conferencing platforms - Microsoft Teams.

  • Sessions may be provided on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, depending on the service booked.

  • The content of sessions is tailored to the Client’s needs, but outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

2. Eligibility

  • Clients must be 18 years or older to book executive coaching.

  • Science tuition is available to learners under 18, but bookings must be made by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult.

  • By booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

3. Booking and Payment

  • All sessions must be booked in advance via our website or direct communication.

  • Payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Fees are stated in GBP (£) and include VAT (if applicable).

  • No session will be confirmed until payment has been received.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session will be charged in full and are non-refundable.

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund.

5. Code of Conduct

  • Clients are expected to be punctual, respectful, and prepared for sessions.

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of services without a refund.

  • For tuition, a responsible adult should ensure a safe and appropriate learning environment is available for the learner.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, resources, and content provided during sessions remain the intellectual property of [Your Business Name] unless otherwise stated.

  • Clients may not record, reproduce, or distribute any part of the sessions or materials without prior written consent.

7. Confidentiality

  • All discussions during coaching or tuition sessions are kept strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., safeguarding concerns, legal obligations).

  • Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (including UK GDPR).

8. Limitation of Liability

  • While we strive to deliver high-quality services, we do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the service in question.

9. Safeguarding

  • For clients under 18, parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the learner’s welfare and safeguarding during online sessions.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate sessions if safeguarding concerns arise.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.

  • The latest version will always be available on our website.

  • Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
